Fortezza Wine Bottle

Welcome to Fortezza Winery

Fortezza Winery...growing Sierra gold.

Fortezza Winery is a small estate approx. 18 acres located in the beautiful rolling Sierra foothills of Auburn California, near California's Gold Country.  We are growing the "other" Sierra gold.  Here at Fortezza we are committed to giving personal attention and special care to each and every vine.  We planted our vineyards in 2006 with Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Primitivo and Viognier wine grapes.  They have thrived in our warm climate.  We are proud to present the wine from our estate grown vineyard to you this year.  Please visit us soon.

Our beautiful, elegant tasting room is nestled in the peaceful setting of the lovely vineyards.  Built in 2007 it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of wine and country.  Salute!

Plan your day of wine tasting by visiting our interactive Placer County Wine Trail Map at www.placercountywinemap.com or pcwines.com  We are now a member of the Placer County Vintner's Association.
